SoundBirth for Doulas

$350.00

One-to-One Professional Session

Bring the calming and focusing qualities of voice, breath and crystal-bowl sound into your work with expectant parents.

This private SoundBirth session is designed for doulas who would like practical guidance in using sound during pregnancy preparation and labour support. You’ll learn simple, adaptable techniques that can complement your existing doula skills and help you support clients and their birth partners with greater confidence.

No musical or singing experience is needed.

What we’ll explore

Your session will be tailored to your experience and may include:

  • the role of voice, breath and rhythm during labour

  • helping a woman feel comfortable using her voice

  • guiding humming, sighing and low vocal tones

  • playing a crystal singing bowl safely and appropriately

  • using the bowl to create rhythm, focus and a sense of calm

  • ways a birth partner can use sound to offer practical support

  • when to introduce sound—and when quiet may be more appropriate

  • adapting the techniques for different clients and birth environments

  • caring for and transporting your crystal singing bowl

You’ll have time to practise the techniques, play the bowl and ask questions relevant to your own doula work.
